FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed centring device comprises peed sight consisting of lens, prism to vary axis of peed sight, graticule and ocular lens. Note here that collimation (meridional) plane of peed sight is aligned with collimation plane of measuring instrument, or makes with it known angle, while its axis is aligned with vertical axis of measuring instrument rotation. Said peed sight may register angular deviations from said axis of measuring instrument. Proposed centring device differs from known designs in that it incorporates electronic system of data registration and processing. Prism to vary direction of peed sight axis incorporates mechanisms of angular and linear displacements in meridional and sagittal planes on said peed sight. Note here that each mechanism of linear displacements may operate in synchronism with relevant mechanism of angular displacements and allows displacement of prism by tangential or linear law depending upon prism angular displacements. Note also that said mechanisms of angular displacements are equipped with code transducers of angular displacements to transmit electromagnetic signal into electronic data registration and processing system.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of centring.
