FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: procedure for application of ceramic coating consists in placement of item in sputtering chamber, in chamber vacuumising, in supply mixture of oxygen and inert gas into chamber and in building ceramic coating on item in two stages. Also, during the first stage the item is heated to temperature 500-1000°C; heating is combined with treatment of item surface with a beam of accelerated ions of inert gas. At the second stage surface of the item is treated with the beam of accelerated ions of inert gas in combination with magnetron target sputtering. Upon formation of ceramic coating the item is heat treated.
EFFECT: increased resource of operation of high pressure turbines of gas-turbine engines, reduced labour input of process of heat protecting coating application.
