FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to traumatology, and can be used in traumatologic and orthopaedic operations where bone grafting is required. A bone cutter for iliac crest grafting comprises a shank end and a working head with cutters and a bone chip chamber. A front end of the working head represents a holed hemisphere. An end of the working head represents a cylinder of an external diameter equal to a diameter of the hemisphere. The cylinder is integrated with a base of the hemisphere. A height of the cylinder makes at least 1/5 of a radius of the hemisphere. The hole diameters are equal to 2 mm to 8 mm. The cutters represent pointed hole edges and have a length equal to 1/2 to 2/3 of a hole circles. The bone chip chamber comprises 2 to 6 radial stiffening ribs. The shank end accommodates an axially rotatable demountable shell guide.

EFFECT: reduced operation length, reduced soft tissue injury ensured by a limited working area of the bone cutter within a bone contact, improved quality of a grafted bone ensured by a homogeneous structure of the graft, increased volume of the graft.
