FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical marking of metal parts. Proposed marker comprises cylindrical case making electrolyte mixing chamber and electrolyte feed unions arranged regularly along chamber edges. Disk-like gauze electrode and replaceable dielectric insert are mounted at chamber outlet to set electrode gap that comprises top and bottom plates to form channels to feed electrolyte in processing zone to localise electrochemical processing and electrolyte discharge channels. Said dielectric insert is jointed to case by dovetail joint and to electrolyte discharge manifold - by threaded cylindrical flange. Insert face working surface, case and flanged are shaped to match with processed part surface.
EFFECT: efficient marking, simple and reliable design, possibility to use in automatic process lines.
