FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: under-layer of pure aluminium produced at decomposition of tri-isobutyl-aluminium or di-isobutyl-aluminium-hydride with addition of di-ethyl-ferrocene at amount of 2-5 vol. % is applied on metal item. Further, there is applied aluminium oxide produced by pyrolytic decomposition of fumes of oxygen containing organic compounds of aluminium. Under-layer of pure aluminium and aluminium oxide coating are applied successively in one reaction chamber. Sec-butoxide of aluminium or isopropylate of aluminium are used as oxygen containing organic compounds of aluminium. Pyrolytic decomposition of oxygen fumes containing organic compounds of aluminium is carried out at temperature 240-280°C and pressure not exceeding 50 Pa.
EFFECT: manufacture of coating facilitating protection of surface of metal items from corrosion and increasing their resource and reliability.
