FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: there proposed is method of filling heat pipes containing capillary porous inserts with working fluids. Method involves vacuum pre-degassing, filling of heat pipes with excess working fluid, treatment of capillary porous insert during certain period of time and at certain pressure, at temperature which is less than boiling temperature of working fluid the excess of which is removed after the treatment is completed.
EFFECT: improving stability of heat transfer characteristics of heat pipes with capillary porous inserts owing to guaranteed saturation of capillary porous inserts with working fluid.
