FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device generates electric field to transfer ions in medium and comprises ion mobility metre. Note here that device additionally comprises first surface element with first surface and second surface element with second surface parallel in fact with first surface. Note here that first and second surface confine medium space and may be displaced by surface elements relative to each other or, both, relative to their individual directions so that, in ion transfer and mobility measurement, medium exists in state of shift flow. Note also that electric field results from feeding voltage to second surface element.

EFFECT: simplified measurement, reduced dependence on temperature.
