FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: analysed signal is fed simultaneously to combs of filters tuned to different frequencies to measure filter output signals. Note here that before measurements, controlled frequency range is subdivided into resolution elements with sampling spacing corresponding to required accuracy and resolution of spectral analysis. Transfer function values of every filter in all resolution elements are defined and time-dependent matrix is formed using said values and exponential function on sampling element frequencies. Filter output signals are registered at definite moment and combined into vector. Complex spectrum of analysed signal is defined, its vector components being discrete values of said complex spectrum per resolution elements in controlled frequency range.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and resolution.
