METHOD OF ELIMINATION OF PERIANAL SKIN WOUND DEFECT IN MALES Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61B17/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and can be applied for elimination of a perianal skin wound defect in males. An oval flap with its greater axis oriented in a anteroposterior direction is cut out on a right or left side of a scrotum; a flap length makes 50 % to 100 % of a greatest size of the wound defect; a flap width makes 50 % to 100 % of a width of the wound defect; a back portion of the flap is equal to 1/3-1/4 of its area and found at a root of scrotum in a projection of a foot of a pedicle of a cavernous body of penis on the side of cutting out the flap making its pedicle including branches of a perineal artery. Anterior and middle portions of the flap are separated by 2/3-3/4 of its lengths from an internal spermatic fascia with the flap including skin, a carnous muscular coat, an external spermatic fascia, a suspensory muscle of testicle and its fascia. The cut out flap is turned around the pedicle, while the separated portion of the flap is placed on the wound defect with stretching the flap over the defect if necessary and fixed circumferentially. The wound is closed on a donor site of the scrotum.

EFFECT: method allows avoiding wound disruption and flap retraction.
