FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for delivery of substances for oral cavity care to mouth surfaces, such as teeth. Compositions according to invention include: (a) silicone pressure sensitive adhesive, selected from blocked copolymers silicone/resin, which are from nearly 25% to totally blocked and are obtained by polycondensation of polydialkylsiloxan with blocked silanol groups and silicon-containing resin with blocked hydroxyl groups and following carrying out of product polycondensation reaction with trialkysilyl blocking agent; (b) plastifying material, able to soften silicone pressure- sensitive adhesive and containing liquid diorganopolysiloxane polymer; (c) water soluble bioadhesive polymer; (d) hydrophilic surface-active substance, and (e) at least one substance for oral cavity care, for example, one active substance for whitening. Also describes are methods of controlled and delayed release of active substances for oral cavity care and delivery of substance for oral cavity care to at least one surface of oral cavity with application of these compositions.

EFFECT: application of said blocked copolymers silicone/resin in combination with water soluble bioadhesive polymer and hydrophilic surface-active substance provides matrix for controlled and delayed release of active substances for oral cavity care.
