SUBSTANCE: in the device for measuring flow rate of a two-phase stream of free-flowing dielectric materials moved by air in a metal conduit, having a microprocessor and an indicator connected in series, a measuring insert made from dielectric material is built into the conduit, on which there are plates of a measuring capacitor, connected in series with plates of a detecting capacitor with a dielectric insert of a voltage-polarisable crystal, where there is a light polariser and a laser emitter on one side of the detecting capacitor, and on the other side a light analyser and a photodetector, the output of which is connected to the input of an amplifier, whose output is connected to the input of the microprocessor, the output of which is connected to the indicator. The voltage-polarisable crystal used can be a lithium niobate crystal.
EFFECT: high measurement accuracy and simple design of the device.
