FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for processing radioactive waste in the form of pulp of filter materials consists in reforming of wastes on solid nozzle in fluidised bed when superheated steam and oxidiser is supplied, removal of undecomposed solid phase from reforming zone, passing of gaseous phase with particles of solid phase through filter, and hardening of solid wastes. Waste reforming is performed at temperature of 500°C and before temperature below sublimation temperature of highly volatile radionuclides. Gaseous phase with particles of solid phase is supplied to cyclone; after that, gaseous flow is supplied through filter, and solid phase after reforming, separation on cyclone and filter is supplied to be crushed prior to hardening.
EFFECT: invention allows reducing the weight and volume of disposed radioactive wastes, namely pulps of filter materials like ion exchange resins and pearlite.
