FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: first radio station (100) performs interrupted channel monitoring for indication of a transferred data packet and measures of channel quality. The first radio station (100) sends indications of measured quality, and when the measured quality goes below the quality threshold, it reduces the period of time spent for channel monitoring, adding or increasing periods of time, when neither monitoring is carried out, and then increases time spent for monitoring, when quality is restored. The second radio station (200) sends data packets to the first radio station (100) and receives indications of the measured quality of the channel. When the measured quality goes below the threshold of quality, the second station reduces the period time spent to transfer data packets to the first radio station (100), adding or increasing periods of time between transferred data packets.
EFFECT: reduction of consumed power by decrease of time spent for channel monitoring.
