SUBSTANCE: method is proposed to restore a wireless connection session in a wireless personal area network (WPAN), as well as a wireless connection device. According to this method it is detected that a master station has become unavailable, besides, the association includes at least one master station and one and more stations. Another master station is detected. Time synchronisation function (TSF) value received from the other master station is compared with the value of the internal TSF. Depending on the comparison result, an application is run, which ensures operation as the master station. Identification messages are sent, containing an identifier (SSID) of a set of services and an identifier (ID) of a communication session, to inform one or more stations on parameters of connection of a new master station. The WPAN communication session with stations is restored, besides, the WPAN communication session is a session of WLAN subnetwork.
