FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to biotechnology. Described is a method of obtaining VH antibodies, involving a step for providing more than one heterologous VH locus of heavy chains on different chromosomes in the given mammal. Each VH locus of heavy chains contains one or more segments of gene V, one or more segments of gene D, one or more segments of gene J and a segment of a gene which codes the permanent region of heavy chains, which does not include section CH1 during expression. As a result of antigen stimulation, only one locus productively recombined in the B-cell, which leads to obtaining the VH antibody of one of the heavy chains, and expression of said VH antibody from said productively recombined locus.
EFFECT: invention broadens the repertoire of antibody response.
