SUBSTANCE: use of a transgenic mammal related to mice or rats is proposed to produce antibodies, where a nucleic acid is built into the mammalian genome, coding a rearranged human immunoglobulin light chain variable region, operably linked to an immunoglobulin constant region and operably linked to a promoter, providing expression of a transgenic light chain in B-cells of a mammal, such that it forms pairs with different endogenous heavy chains, providing the production of antibodies.
EFFECT: present invention enables to obtain antibodies containing a light chain with a variable region of human immunoglobulin in a pair with various heavy chains of mammalian immunoglobulins.
