FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: in the method involving preparation of a solution containing platinum (II), obtaining a platinum (II) complex compound with a sulphur-containing complexing organic reagent, holding, cooling with liquid nitrogen to 77 K, irradiation with UV light and obtaining an analytical signal in form of luminescent radiation, the complexing sulphur-containing organic substance used is 2-mercapto-5-benzimidazole sulphonic acid, and luminescence intensity is measured at 610 nm.
EFFECT: high sensitivity and information content, and simplification of analysis.
