FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: depending on position steel strip is contact-free effected with stabilising forces of electro-magnetic coils. The coils are set in a direction of strip motion behind the blowing off nozzles. According to invention, to improve stabilisation of the strip in a zone of the blowing off nozzle distance of effect of strip stabilisation is set at value less or equal to a threshold value of distance relative to the blowing off nozzles.
EFFECT: upgraded quality of coating due to stabilisation of strip with applied protective coating which passes between blowing off nozzles of installation for application of coating by immersion into melt.
