SUBSTANCE: systems and procedures are described, which assist in transfer and reception of control data in compliance with switching structures, where switching structures are defined partially on the basis of capabilities in a pass band of a device that transfers control data, and a pass band of a network, along which this data is sent. In this respect those devices that have lower capabilities in a pass band compared to a network may be switched within the determined units of frequencies reserved for control data, suggesting that these units are not larger than the device pass band. Devices that have larger or substantially identical capabilities in a pass band as the network may be switched between individual frequency units in the network, which are reserved for control data, since a device may process substantially any frequency switching. This saves frequency spacing for control channels in multiple types of devices, no matter what devices capabilities in a frequency band are.

EFFECT: saving control channels frequency spacing by means of switching structure selection as a function of network pass band and device pass band.
