FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compression moulding of plastic articles wherein articles are produced by compressing measured doze of fused plastic material between two mould parts. Proposed device allows producing the article by compressing fused plastic material dose between two mould parts. It comprises plastic material feed source, core arranged to slide inside the sleeve designed to maintain plastic material dose, article head mould and mandrel interacting with said mould. Note here that said device comprises inelastic locking appliances designed to limit rod reciprocation if the sleeve. Note also that said inelastic locking appliances make an integral part of said sleeve. Maximum free length which said rod extends beyond sleeve top surface is in fact equal or exceeds a bit the distance between mandrel and sleeve with mandrel in lower position.
EFFECT: improved distribution of plastic material on sleeve for efficient moulding of tubes.
