FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: rechargeable element of storage battery has negative electrode (5), electrolyte (21) and positive electrode (4). Negative electrode has substrate (12) having electronic conductivity, on which active metal (24) of negative electrode is deposited as a result of electrolysis during the element charging. Near substrate (12) of negative electrode (5) there located is porous structure (13) containing active mass (17) of positive electrode, owing to which some part of active metal (24) formed as a result of electrode reaction on negative electrode penetrates pores (14) of porous structure (13) containing active mass (17) of positive electrode and is accumulated in it.
EFFECT: increasing safety; improving performance characteristics.
