FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to surgery, and can be applied for hiatal hernia repair. A gastrophrenic ligament and a portion of a gastrolienal ligament is dissected to the left and to the right. Crura of diaphragm are separated and sutures behind an oesophagus by interrupted sutures. A defect and a suture line are coated with a prosthesis. The prosthesis is coated with the gastrophrenic and gastrolienal ligaments to be fixed to the prosthesis by interrupted sutures. It is followed by fundoplication with fixing the created cuff to the diaphragm by interrupted sutures on a thick gastric probe.
EFFECT: method allows reducing risk of the reflux-associated complications.
