FIELD: medicine, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, surgery. In surgery of oesophageal hiatal hernias oesophagus is mobilised from laparoscopic access. Crura of diaphragm are exposed. 5 cm wide and 10-12 cm long mesh implant is cut out and installed into posterior mediastinum, covering hiatus oesophageus. Long side of implant is placed at not shorter than 2 cm distance from posterior oesophageal wall. Implant is fixed to diaphragm on corners with interrupted sutures. Fundoplacation cuff is formed and fixed to oesophagus.
EFFECT: method increases efficiency of surgery of oesophageal hiatal hernias due to cruroplasty of diaphragm crura together with implant fixed to it.
