FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and system for removing sulfur oxides, and other acid gases and solid particles from combustion gases. Proposed method comprises processing combustion gas by suspension made up of water, lime and flushing flow fed from wet scrubber into sprayer dryer. Portion of axis gases is removed from combustion gas to produce dry by-product to allow evaporation of flushing flow. Combustion gas is filtered out to remove ash dust and at least a portion of dry by-product. Wet cleaning of combustion gas escaping from sprayer drier and fed into wet scrubber is performed. Lime or limestone is fed into wet scrubber to react with at least a portion of acid gases therein to form wet scrubber by-product. Said flushing flow is discharged from wet scrubber and fed into sprayer drier. Gypsum is produced from wet scrubber by-product.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of removal.
