FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: in its most common version of design, an ionising radiation detection assembly has a position-sensitive detector, having a working window for receiving ionising radiation quanta and a slit-type structure made from material which is impermeable for ionising radiation, mounted on the working window of the position-sensitive detector either used in place of the working window and having a periodic system of slits or holes, lying on the axial line of the working window of the position-sensitive detector.
EFFECT: high reproducibility of measurement results of the ionising radiation detection assembly and simple design of said assembly.
