SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. A method consists in electric cardiac signal recording. It is combined with forming a rectangular pulse train of the repetition frequency concurring with the heart rhythm, while the pulse length is proportional to the length of the related heart beat cycle. An interpulse time has the equal length for the entire pulse train, and its beginning coincides with the beginning of a sequent heart beat cycle. The derived pulse train is filtered simultaneously with using a filter bank comprising a low-pass filter and band-pass filters. The presence of filter output filters shows the related periodic components in the heart rhythm.

EFFECT: application of the method enables the real-time detection of various wave components in the heart rhythm, that in turn allows judging the circumstances accompanying the moment and taking the appropriate therapeutic measures to normalise cardiovascular functioning.
