FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves formation of highly basic slag, steel deoxidation with aluminium, metal blowing with argon and introduction to it of calcium-containing materials. At that, after metal desulphurisation with highly basic slag till sulphur content is not more than 0.005%, metal is heated to the temperature of not less than 1630°C; after that, aluminium is added till its content of 0.050-0.070% is obtained, and injection of fluidised lime in quantity of 2.8-4.2 kg/t is performed at the rate of 100-150 kg/min.
EFFECT: method allows obtaining steel with sulphur content and reducing the flow of powder wire with calcium-containing materials.
