FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: adjustment unit, preferably for garden shears and a similar tool suitable for work with two hands or only one hand, is formed of a cutting blade and an opposite blade, which are hingedly connected to each other, and which, in case with the tool, which is only suitable for work with one hand, may be additionally equipped with a blade holder and an opposite blade holder. The adjustment unit is formed by a bolt passing through holes. Holes are made in the blade and the opposite blade or as a possible version in holders of the blade and the opposite blade, and also as a stop nut wound on one of the ends of the bolt. A cross clamping screw is screwed into the nut to cross two parts formed by a slot that cuts the nut.
EFFECT: arrangement ensures simplicity and reliability of unit operation.
