FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to membrane technology, namely, to method of producing micro- and ultra-filtration membranes, particularly, track membranes. Proposed membrane, a film, comprises at least two locks of straight hollow channels, tapered in surface layer. Note here that axes of said channels are not parallel and at least one of said blocks consists of stopped channels beginning on surface and extending to film bottom and intersecting with channels of the other block to create selective layer. Method of producing such membrane comprises irradiating polymer film by heavy charged particles, for example, accelerated ions some of which have path smaller than film thickness, and subsequent etching. Pore channel diameter and length, their inclination as well as porosity are selected so that pores of different blocks intersect in membrane volume to form selective layer.
EFFECT: increased porosity, decreased drag and higher specific efficiency in filtration.
