FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method for remote measurement of roof rocks displacement includes detection of a measurement place, arrangement of a metering device, comprising an element of conductor tension, and measurement of transmitted parameters. For this purpose at first in development or temporary openings an area is detected with highest stresses and deformations of roof rocks, which is arranged, as a rule, at interfaces or crossings of openings, a block is fixed in the roof in the selected area, via which a conductor is pulled, and the end of the conductor is fixed to a flexible or a rigid device attached to opposite walls of openings with the help of an anchor support. Besides, the distance from the area of the conductor end fixation to the block is set as at least 40 cm.
EFFECT: simple and reliable method, possibility for personnel and equipment to move in the openings.
