SUBSTANCE: according to one aspect of the invention, multiple cyclic redundancy code (CRC) values are calculated based on multiple bits by using a selected generating polynomial for the CRC control value, where at least one CRC control value is calculated based on a first subset of multiple bits with determination of the bit order and at least one other CRC control value is calculated based on a second subset of multiple bits with another bit order. The second subset of bits can overlap with the first subset of bits.

EFFECT: high probability of successful decoding.
