SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to the area of medicine, namely to the area of ophthalmology, and can be used for retinoschisis treatment. For this purpose coagulating exposure to laser radiation is performed. The method uses the radiation of diode laser with the wavelength 0.83 mcm, radiation power from 350 to 850 mW, exposure 0.2-0.3 s for each coagulate, spot diameter 150-200 mcm. First the limiting coagulation of macular area is performed. Then the coagulates are placed from the center of retina to periphery on the retinoschisis surface and along the vascular archs to retinoschisis flattening. In the absence of visible resorption the exposure is repeated for 2-5 times with the interval 1-4 weeks. EFFECT: method provides for preservation of retina surface layers, speed up of resorption of intraretinal fluid with cyst deflation and preservation of retina function due to preservation of macular area and formation of shunts between outer retina and choroid layers.
