FIELD: solid propellant manufacturing.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the area of development of composite solid propellant manufacturing by pressure casting with predictable mechanical properties. The method comprises components dosing, composite propellant preparation with various amounts of the solidifying additive, sample molding the molding form equipped with a measurement rod, thermal conditioned and solidification of an item with the chosen solidifying component content. The item samples shall be thermally conditioned at the temperature of 70-90єC, solidified for 40-50 hours. The solidifying additive content shall be chosen following the example with the shearing rigidity M within the range of Mmin≤M≤Mmax, where Mmin, Mmax are lower and upper shearing rigidity limits, respectively, that enable obtaining a high-quality item. EFFECT: high-quality composite solid propellant manufacturing with predictable mechanical properties and process contraction with reduced sample manufacturing costs.
