FIELD: construction machinery.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designated for locating of mandrills and bores in the ground; the alternating low-frequency magnetic field is induced by the emitter which is rigidly connected with the mandrill or bore; the emitter is executed in the shape of identical, coaxial, phasing-out inductance coils located along the axis of the mandrill; the differential diagram of the aerial directivity is formed cumulatively; the aerials are moved on the surface and define the position wherein the difference signal is equal to null; by orientation of the aerials in these positions they determine the plane position squire with the axis of the mandrill or the bore and the vertical plane coinciding with the direction of mandrill or bore axis; the line of intersection of the vertical plane with the ground surface is to be found; the course is to be determined regarding the direction of the above line; the pitching is determined by the angularity to the ground surface plane squire with the axis of the mandrill or bore; the device contains the emitter of the alternating low-frequency magnetic field, two identically oriented aerials and the receiver having two receiving channels and indicators; the aerials outlets switched to the inputs of the signals sums and differences receiving device and its outlets connected to the inputs of the receiving summarizing and differentiating channels; the outlet of the differentiating channel is switched to the input of the first indicator; the outlet of summarizing channel is switched to the input of the second indicator.
EFFECT: enhancement of accuracy of determination of mandrills and bores pitching and the emitter construction simplification.
