FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the ways of materials protection from microbial destruction by means of covering the protected material with antimicrobial active substance. It differs from other ways as the alkyloxiphenylic derivant of the methane is used as the antimicrobial active substance with the general formula: where: R1 is taken from hydrogen, alkyl C1-C21, alkyloxiphenyl, R2 is taken from hydrogen, oxiphenyl, alkyloxiphenyl, dialkyloxiphenyl, R3 is taken from alkyloxiphenyl, dioxiphenyl, dialkyloxiphenyl; and in the alkyloxiphenyl and dialkyloxiphenyl the alkyl is taken from C2-C20; and the concentrations of the antimicrobial active substance are between 0.002 and 0.5 % of the weight.
EFFECT: enlargement of the range of antimicrobial protective materials that are characterized by their prolonged activity and improved reliability.
