FIELD: welding techniques.
SUBSTANCE: method can be applied to mechanic engineering and shipbuilding for production of welded construction; one or several welding electrodes are placed on each side of the joint; the electrodes are shifted relatively one another both longitudinally for the value Ll chosen on the basis of the condition 0≤ Ll≤ 2Lmax molten pool, whereat Lmax molten pool is the maximum length of the molten pool, and transversally for the value Lt, chosen on the basis of the condition 0≤ Lt≤ 0.3Bw whereat Bw is the width of the weld; the electrodes are positioned at an angle α=15...30° to the plane of the welded parts in the area of their apex joint towards the speed of welding.
EFFECT: method allows to level down the requirements to the joint adjustment, increase the productivity and enhance the quality of the weld formation.
