FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry and can be used for production of steel tubing billet with increased radiation resistance. Melt is poured into rotary around horizontal axis at speed of 650 rpm shape. During the whole period of formation of the workpiece, a mixture of dispersed particles is fed into the melt flow, consisting of (wt% of the mass of the molten metal) tungsten carbide (0.8-1.2), boron carbide (0.4-0.7), yttrium oxide (0.05-0.95). Supply of particles is carried out simultaneously. Since the disperse particles fed have different density, under action of centrifugal forces they are distributed in different layers of the formed steel workpiece.
EFFECT: successive finding of particles in surface, middle and inner layers of tube billet provides effective prevention to radiation radiation effect, which considerably increases service life of article in aggressive medium.
