FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to automatic control of transport facility chassis elements. Proposed system comprises air-operated regulation mechanism, air pressure source, control unit, pressure pickup, transducer to record magnitudes of mutual arrangement between chassis element and wheel pair. Control unit compares measured magnitude with target magnitude, and system pressure with tolerable pressure, defines if one of two criteria is satisfied for making decision on pressure adjustment to preset level, and adjusts system pressure to first upper limit. Proposed method comprises stages whereat mutual arrangement between chassis element and wheel pair is affected, control signal is generated proceeding from target magnitude, airflow is fed into adjustment mechanism, system pressure parameter is recorded, parameter of mutual arrangement between chassis element and wheel pair is recorded, measured magnitude is compared with target magnitude, and system pressure is compared with tolerable pressure. One of two criteria is checked for satisfaction. If yes, system pressure is adjusted to preset level. System pressure is adjusted to first upper limit if measured magnitude is in the limits of preset range nearby target magnitude before system pressure reaches said first upper limit. Motor transport facility comprises above described system.
