FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: areas on the Earth's surface with linearly stretched topographic features corresponding to tectonic faults of the Earth containing mineral deposits are detected through juxtaposition of the areas with the coordinate grid the natural-world coordinate system formed by large circles of the globe passing through opposite paired points on the Earth's surface with fixed coordinates, and operations associated with extraction of minerals are carried out directly on those areas on the Earth's surface which correspond to these large circles.
EFFECT: invention enables extraction of minerals without preliminary exploration and use of specific geology-prospecting equipment in a systematic and orderly fashion, taking into account modern scientific conceptions about the Earth.
