SUBSTANCE: method involves determining the drive engine traction force applied to drive wheels before F_zug_vor and after F_zug_nach shift, determining the longitudinal acceleration of the vehicle before a_zug_vor and after a_zug_nach the shift and determining acceleration a_roll in the traction-force-free phase during the shift. Based on the obtained values, a first mass value m_vor=F_zug_vor/(a_zug_vor - a_roll) is calculated for the beginning of the shift and a second mass value m_nach-F_zug_nach/(a_zug_nach-a_roll) is calculated for the end of the shift.
EFFECT: improved dynamic quality of the motor vehicle.
