FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves taking at least two measurements of particle energy using different techniques - total particle energy and particle kinetic energy are measured. The difference between the total energy of particles and their kinetic energy is the quantum nonlocality energy, wherein in all cases the number of particles per unit time participating in the measurements is counted. The total energy of quantum particles is measured via calorimetry. The kinetic energy of charged particles is measured via mass-spectrometry. The kinetic energy of neutral particles is measured using recoil momentum from a target on torque balances.
EFFECT: use of quantum nonlocality energy of particles in infinite motion only in devices for absorbing heat enables to design high-efficiency cooling elements.
