FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has an automated workstation, main and standby ship data integrators, radar stations, an equipment control subsystem, a common data bus and interfaced system sensors. The apparatus also includes network radar processors, a video extender; the automated workstations are unified; the analogue outputs of video systems are connected through the video extender to video inputs of the automated workstations; the radar stations are connected to the common bus through the network radar processors; equipment sensors are connected through the equipment control subsystem, ship data integrators are connected to additional interfaced system sensors: a device for measuring roll and trim, a route recording device and an automatic identification system.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the apparatus owing to software and hardware unification of automatic workstations, integration of interfaced systems into a single hardware and software complex on the level of the navigation loop, the ship equipment control loop and a self-optimising architecture with automatic controlled reconfiguration of the set of automated workstations to sure navigation security.
