SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a blocking device for a vacuum cleaner, comprising a dust compartment with an inlet and a liner that provides a rigid fixation in it of the posterior end of its suction hose, and a filter element located in a dust compartment equipped with a rigid plate with a hole, which serves to secure the filter element from the inside of the liner, and it is equipped with a diaphragm, which closes the inlet of the dust compartment, eliminating the possibility of fixing the rear end of the suction hose in the inlet when the filter element is not placed inside the dust compartment or installed incorrectly.

EFFECT: avoidance of operating a vacuum cleaner with improperly installed filter element or uninstalled filter element.
