SUBSTANCE: cartridge has a photosensitive drum; a developing roller configured and placed with possibility of moving between the contact position, where said developing roller is in contact with the photosensitive drum to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on said photosensitive drum, and in a spaced-apart position, where said developing roller is spaced out from said photosensitive drum with possibility of rotating about its axis, and a connecting element adjacent to one axial end of said developing roller. The connecting element includes: a drive force receiving area which is configured and arranged to receive a drive force for rotating said developing roller with possibility of moving in the direction which crosses the axis of said developing roller relative said developing roller; and a fitting area which is configured and arranged to fit said drive force receiving area in a direction which crosses the axis of said developing roller.
EFFECT: design of a process cartridge and an electrophotographic device for forming small images, in which the rotary drive force is directly applied onto the developing roller through the connecting element of a shaft from the basic unit of the device regardless of the drive feed on the photosensitive drum, improved accuracy of rotating the developing roller, which improves image quality.
