SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for image formation. The process cartridge comprises a drum unit comprising an electrophotographic drum; a developing unit comprising a developing roller and movably connected to the drum unit, movable relative to the drum unit between the contact position and the spaced position; a drum connecting element provided on one axial end of the drum for engagement with the first drive transmission element when the said process cartridge is mounted along the axial direction of the drum; a shaft connecting element provided on one axial end of the developing roller with an inclination allowable between the axis of the second drive transmission element and the axis of the developing roller, at that the shaft connecting element comprises an engaging part for engagement with the second drive transmission element when the process cartridge is mounted; an engaging part is movable in a direction crossing the axial direction of the developing roller; and when the process cartridge enters the main assembly with the developing unit located in the spaced position, the axis of the engaging part is inclined from the axis of the developing roller in the direction of crossing.
EFFECT: main technical result of the proposed solution is the possibility of applying the rotational driving force directly to the developing roller through the shaft connecting element of the main assembly of the device independently from the driving supply to the photosensitive drum.
