SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a process cartridge and an electrophotographic image forming device, which is also used. A process cartridge (7) mountable detachably to the main assembly of the electrophotographic image forming device, at that the main assembly comprises a first element (66) of drive transmission and a second main element (53) of drive transmission, comprises a drum unit (26), comprising an electrophotographic drum (1); a developing unit (4) comprising a developing roller (25) and movably connected to the drum unit, movable relative to the drum unit between the contact position and the spaced position; a connecting element (16) of the drum, provided on one axial end of the drum for engaging with the first element (66) of drive transmission, when the said process cartridge is mounted along the axial direction of the drum; a connecting element (20) of the shaft, provided on one axial end of the developing roller (25) with an inclination allowable between the axis of the second element (53) of drive transmission and the axis of the developing roller (25), at that the connecting element (20) of the shaft comprises a part (23) of engaging for engagement with the second element (53) of drive transmitting when the process cartridge is mounted; the part (23) of engaging is movable in the direction crossing the axial direction of the developing roller; and when the process cartridge enters the main assembly with the developing unit placed in the spaced position, the axis part (23) of engaging is inclined from the axis of the developing roller in the direction of crossing.

EFFECT: technical result achieved from implementation of the claimed group of inventions is to provide a process cartridge and an electrophotographic image forming device of small size, in which the rotational driving force is applied directly to the developing roller through the shaft connecting element from the main assembly of the device regardless of the drive transmission to the photosensitive drum, and in which, even after the photosensitive drum and the developing roller are spaced at a distance, when the process cartridge is mounted, the engagement part and the second element of the drive transmission of the main assembly of the shaft connecting element are smoothly engaged with each other, and in which rotational accuracy of the developing roller is improved, so that the image quality is improved.
