FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: transmitted paging indicator data can be sent over a paging channel to one or more mobile devices. The paging indicator indicates that additional information, such as full paging messages, other control plane data or other user plane data, expect transmission at the given moment in time (e.g., in a subframe) on the corresponding high-speed channel. A set of parameters, which defines the set of corresponding subframes in the high-speed channel, can be transmitted over shared channels. Mobile devices can analyse the set of parameters in order to determine corresponding subframes and receive the subframes in accordance with a schedule.

EFFECT: improved feedback relating to channel information and possibility of using the channel of a paging indicator together with high-speed channels in a wireless communication network.
