SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and a method of boosting secretion of recombinant proteins of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast cells. The disclosed method is used to construct Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast strains - producers of secreted human interferon alpha-2b and alpha-2a. Productivity of the obtained strains is not less than 550 mg/l of interferon alpha-2 using fermentation equipment.

EFFECT: method of increasing secretion of recombinant proteins in Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast cells, based on use of novel leader polypeptides which include a combination of pro-regions instead of a unique pro-region, said combination representing a sequence of two or more pro-regions of the α-factor of Scerevisiae yeast.
