FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: radar space probing of radar signal reflectors on the earth's surface on the territory of mineral deposits is performed. The obtained results are sent to a processing centre. GPS base station and differential GPS monitoring data are received. The numeric field of displacements of the earth's surface is calculated at the processing centre based the obtained radar space probing results using differential interferometric processing of radar data. The obtained numeric field of displacements of the earth's surface is calibrated based on the GPS monitoring data. Spatial correlation of various data with the calibrated field of displacements of the earth's surface is performed to determine the causes of the detected displacements and deformations. The packing density of the locality of artificial radar signal reflectors mounted on the earth's surface is not less than one artificial reflector per area of one frame of radar space probing.
EFFECT: high level of safety and fewer risks when exploiting mineral deposits.
