FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides a method for determining the amount of conjugated taxane in polyglutamic acid-taxane conjugate wherein one or more taxane molecules are bound through 2'-hydroxy-position with γ-carboxyl group of α-poly-L-glutamic acid involving the stages: a) conducting the reaction of the polyglutamic acid-taxane conjugate and a compound of formula R1R2N-NH2 (I) to produce free taxane and polyglutamic acid hydrazide and b) determining the amount of free taxane.
EFFECT: improved method for determining the amount of conjugated taxane.
